THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO LOCAL ENTERPRISE WEEK

Local Enterprise Week Louth 2024 is set to be a dynamic week of learning and networking events for businesses across the county. Organised by our team in the Local Enterprise Office, it takes place from March 4th to 8th, and includes seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to support and develop local business. Pamela Kerr, Senior Enterprise Development Officer with Local Enterprise Office Louth explains “We team are here to support businesses in so many ways, and we’re not the only ones. Louth has a wealth of great Enterprise Centres, Chambers of Commerce, BIDS and educational institutions that also provide learning, networking, advice and support to business. We are delighted to partner with many of them including Network Louth, Drogheda Chamber and Dundalk Chamber to co-host events as part of Local Enterprise Week 2024.”

Tickets for Local Enterprise Week events are free of charge, but are limited, so now is the time to book your places.

Pamela previews some of the highlight events. “Network Louth will celebrate International Women’s Day with an evening event on Thursday, 7th March focusing on empowerment and confidence. Naomh McElhatton of dara & Co will be the keynote speaker (click to book). Dundalk Chamber will focus on the importance of building a sustainable all-island economy with a cross border conference hosted by journalist Mark Simpson on Wednesday 6th March (click to book). While Drogheda Chamber will share valuable insights on how to secure the future of your business through comprehensive insurance and sound financial planning (click to book) at their breakfast seminar on Thursday 7th March.”

She continues “as a busy business owner, it can be hard to make time for creative thinking and innovation, but it’s essential to the future of any business. We’re holding Ideas Generation Workshops add links in three different locations across the county during Local Enterprise Week. Monday 4th March will take place in Ardee Business Park, Tuesday 5th March (click to book), The Mill Enterprise Hub, Drogheda (click to book) and the Wednesday session will take place in Creative Spark, Dundalk (click to book). Hosted by Geraldine Johnston, these free evening sessions are ideal for business owners who want to think creatively and develop new ideas.
